Public transport

During the Grand Départ of the Tour de France Femmes, the best way to travel is by metro. Some bus and tram lines will continue to operate, but they may run on a detour or shortened route. For more information, visit www.ret.nl.

P+R locations
Are you coming by car? Park at a P+R location and travel from there by metro to the city center. Convenient P+R locations are: Kralingse Zoom, Capelsebrug, Alexander, Slinge, and Meijersplein.

Stage 1: Rotterdam – The Hague
The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift 2024 starts with a stage from Rotterdam to The Hague. After beginning in Museumpark, next to the Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen, the peloton will first complete a circuit through the center of Rotterdam, passing notable streets such as the Coolsingel and the Witte de Withstraat. The Tour then departs from the city.

Useful metro stations to view stage 1
To view the start of Stage 1, take the metro to Eendrachtsplein. This is a good location because the riders pass by here twice. If you want to watch from another point along the route, metro stations Beurs, Stadhuis, and Blaak are convenient places to get off. The route passes these stations, so you will be right on the front row.

Stage 2: Dordrecht – Rotterdam
The second day features a relatively short morning stage from Dordrecht to Rotterdam. Passing through Alblasserdam, Ridderkerk, and Barendrecht, the Tour will eventually enter the finish city of Rotterdam, where the riders will finish on the Boompjes, at the foot of the Erasmus Bridge.

Useful metro stations to view stage 2
The Tour enters Rotterdam for the last 15 kilometers via Rotterdam South and past metro station Slinge. 5 kilometers before the finish, the riders will pass Laan op Zuid, and metro station Wilhelminaplein is a good place to see the Tour go by. Prefer to see the finish? Then travel to metro station Leuvehaven.

Stage 3: Time Trial Rotterdam
After the morning stage, the center of Rotterdam becomes the focal point for an individual time trial. The route features long, straight roads with many bridges and few turns along the way. Fast pace guaranteed!

Useful metro stations to view the time trial
A large part of the time trial route lies between the Erasmus Bridge and Hofplein, where the riders will ride twice on the same road. Metro stations Stadhuis, Beurs, Leuvehaven, and Wilhelminaplein are therefore excellent locations to get off.
