Stage 2: Along the route
The Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift passes by some of Dordrecht’s most striking locations. Don’t miss: Don’t miss:
De Grote of Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk van Dordrecht stamt uit de 11e eeuw en is het belangrijkste monument van de stad. The church is an architectural masterpiece, and the interior is also worth a visit. Curious about the view from the top? You’ll get there after 275 steps.
This national monument built in 1928 symbolises the harbour in the historic city centre. In its time, the dock was used to partially raise ships out of the water for rudder and propeller repairs. An industrial masterpiece from days gone by.
The gateway to the Three Rivers Point, Europe’s busiest river junction, is where the Lower Merwede, Old Meuse and North Rivers converge. Dordrecht’s most important city gate was built around 1440-1450 and is still visible from the water.
