The Tour de France Femmes starts from Museumpark, right next to the Boijmans Van Beuningen Depot. It then goes via Schiedam and Vlaardingen to the Blankenburg connection. The new motorway – the A24 – will be opened with the passing of the yellow caravan.
A lap on Voorne-Putten will lead back to the Blankenburg connection via Hellevoetsluis and Zuidland. The riders then head straight through the Westland – passing places like Maassluis, Maasland, Honselersdijk, ‘s Gravenzande and Monster – to The Hague.
The race ends with a swing through the hofstad. Via the Erasmusweg and through the Schilderswijk district, the riders race to a lap through the Zuiderpark and then the finish line is drawn in Kijkduin.
