Monday 12 August, from 12.00 to 17.00, Zuiderpark will be transformed into a cosy cycling festival. This is the day 154 professional cyclists will cycle right through the Zuiderpark to the finish line in Kijkduin during the first stage of the Tour de France Femmes. The Tour de France Femmes is the largest women’s cycling race in the world, starting in the Netherlands for the first time. A unique event! Reason enough for a fun cycling festival. There is something for everyone, for young and old, from culture to sports lovers, everyone is welcome!
There is all this to do:
– Cycling on a BMX track
– Participate in a graffiti workshop making t-shirts and banners
– Cycling a digital course on a racing bike
– Learn how to repair your bike
– Take part in a cycling lesson
– Architectural route by bike along sculptures in the Zuiderpark
Enjoy the cheerful music and delicious food, while the children have fun on the bouncy castle or get their faces painted on the cosy festival grounds. And, of course, encourage the cyclists cycling past the festival!
